Description

Nasser is from the town of Bélabo within the capital city of Yaoundé located in Cameroon.  The city is the second largest in the Southwestern African country.  Historically it was a focal point of German and Belgium occupation. Today tribalism is still a part of Cameroonian society juxtaposed against popularized areas like the Bastos District where diplomats, business leaders, and expatriate communities can be found among the many plantations that occupy the rural areas of the city and throughout the country.

Nasser is an artist in search of capturing and illustrating the essence of the moments that people care about and the truth in society that go unnoticed.  Inspired by nature, seascapes & landscapes, and the emotions of people — the self-proclaimed dreamer looks to define meaning in his fantasies.

In his own words: “In my art, the message I look to share is LOVE – specifically, giving it and receiving it.   My works are subjective; I try to share my rawest emotions and feelings as an aesthetic applied to canvas. I’ve exhibited internationally and currently have works on loan in Bollywood Parks and resorts in Dubai. Art has taking me around the world and my talents have provided for me even in times when I had no money.  My art means everything to me.  I will cherish it until I die.”
