Description
Casimir who’s artistically known as “Caszi” is a contemporary painter born in Adjamé, one of 10 communities made up of Abidjan, Ivory Coast. He also credits his family roots to the Lélé ethnic group of northwestern Burkina Faso is also where he calls home. As a creative, Caszi looks to exhibit the breadth of his life experiences and culture through his works.
Trained in contemporary painting, live model drawing, photography, and light and animated cinema. His painting has a universal dimension; constantly moving, colorful, and rhythmic – which coincidentally, acts as inspiration for Caszi. Enveloping multicultural encounters around him throughout Africa and Europe, he visually defines faces with shadows and contrast as a representation of journey.
